How big is a passport photo in Germany?
35 × 45 mm in portrait format, head height 32–36 mm from chin to crown.
These dimensions apply to biometric photos according to the Federal Ministry of the Interior’s sample chart. They are also used for the driving licence and many other ID cards. All other rules are on biometric requirements.
